The Food for Health International Society (FOHIS) is a not-for-profit organization, founded in 2016 by Prof. De-Xing Hou (Kagoshima University, Japan). FOHIS aims to establish a systematic strategy for “Food for Health” from food production, processing, nutrition, function, and safety as well as global food security based on the innovative technologies of life science. To build bridges linking these fields for one goal-human health, the Food for Health International Conference & Life Science Symposium (FOHIC & LSS) was hosted by FOHIS and organized by different institutions in the world. Since 2016, FOHIC & LSS has been held in Japan (2016, 2024), China (2017, 2025), Mexico (2018), and Poland (2019), respectively, although it was suspended from 2020-2024 due to COVID-19. FOHIC & LSS already experienced 6 times and constructed the primary platform for communicating latest practices, updated information, emerging ideas, and innovative technologies of comprehensive food science toward “Food for Health”.

The 7th FOHIC & LSS 2026 will be organized by Mae Fah Luang University, and held on December 17-19, 2026 at Chiang Rai, Thailand. As Found President of FOHIS, I am very delighted to look forward to your participation.
